Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated rounds of thunderstorms have produced 3-5 inches across the watch area over the last 24 hours. Flood Warning issued June 9 at 9:41AM CDT until June 9 at 3:00PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Green, Hart and Taylor. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT /400 PM EDT/. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 941 AM CDT /1041 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Greensburg, Monroe, Thurlow, Grab, Webbs, Donansburg, Bluff Boom, Gresham, Whitewood and Roachville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
