Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are possible. * WHERE...Portions of west central Illinois, including the following areas, Hancock, Henderson, McDonough and Warren, southeast Iowa, including the following areas, Des Moines, Henry IA, Jefferson, Lee and Van Buren, and northeast Missouri, including the following areas, Clark and Scotland. * WHEN...From 5 PM CDT this afternoon through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches in a short time are possible. With soils saturated from previous rainfall, this will lead to an increased risk of flash flooding. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
