IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Cedar Rapids, Vinton, Marengo, Marion, Hiawatha, Belle Plaine, Fairfax, Atkins, Walford, Dysart, Palo, Shellsburg, Victor, Newhall, Blairstown, Van Horne, Keystone, Norway, Garrison, and Ladora. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 207 and 217. Interstate 380 between mile markers 15 and 24. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
