DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts of around 100 km/h are forecast for far southern parts of the state. Snow covered roads above 400 metres will make driving conditions dangerous during Thursday night in parts of the Western and Central Plateau forecast districts.
