blizzard warning in effect Blizzard conditions continuing tonight and ending Saturday morning. Strong northerly winds are combining with falling snow to give blizzard conditions. The winds may gust in excess of 70 km/h at times. The system will exit the area Saturday morning and conditions will improve through the day on Saturday. ### Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
