HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Strong thunderstorms will be near... The Thimbles around 855 PM EDT. Herod Point around 900 PM EDT. Central Long Island Sound, Falkner Island, and Madison Reef around 905 PM EDT. Mattituck Inlet, Six Mile Reef, and Westbrook Center around 915 PM EDT. Long Sand Shoal, Essex Village, Great Peconic Bay, and Horton Point around 920 PM EDT. Shelter Island Sound, Mouth of the Connecticut River, and Little Peconic Bay around 925 PM EDT. Dering Harbor and Shelter Island around 930 PM EDT.
