Hourly rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 543 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Haven, New London, Guilford, Clinton, Groton, Old Saybrook, Chester, Hamden, Branford, North Haven, Waterford, East Lyme, Ledyard, North Branford, Old Lyme, Westbrook, Killingworth, Lyme, Gales Ferry and North Madison. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
