At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Vanderbilt Beach. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

Flood Advisory issued June 23 at 4:29PM EDT until June 23 at 5:30PM EDT by NWS Miami FL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Florida, including the following county, Collier. * WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
