Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 NM... At 356 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. Thunderstorms were located near Amelia City northward towards St. Simons Island, moving northeast at 20 knots. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
