Flood Advisory issued June 6 at 7:09PM EDT until June 6 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Fountain County in west central Indiana... Northwestern Montgomery County in west central Indiana... Southwestern Tippecanoe County in west central Indiana... Warren County in west central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Williamsport, Attica, Shadeland, Linden, West Lebanon, New Richmond, Wingate, Newtown, Pine Village, Rainsville, Tab and Pence. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
