Special Weather Statement issued June 3 at 7:11PM CDT by NWS Hastings NE At 711 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Barnard to near Tipton to 6 miles southwest of Osborne to near Natoma. Movement was north at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Osborne, Natoma, Tipton, and Victor around 715 PM CDT. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Northwestern Mitchell County in north central Kansas... Osborne County in north central Kansas... Southeastern Smith County in north central Kansas... * WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 748 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
