Flood Warning issued June 18 at 5:01PM EDT until June 18 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Anderson, Boyle, Bullitt, Garrard, Jessamine, Mercer, Nelson, Spencer and Washington. * WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 500 PM EDT, Emergency management reported flooding in typical low-lying areas across the county. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bardstown, Harrodsburg, Springfield, Burgin, Bloomfield, Willisburg, Mackville, Fairfield, Hardesty and Polin. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
