Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 25 at 3:13AM EDT until September 26 at 1:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Saint Mary's County. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EDT Thursday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off Saint Mary's River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Coltons Point is at 9:48 AM and 10:05 PM. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 9:12 AM and 9:29 PM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 7:46 AM and 9:02 PM. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
