In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Fond du Lac Band, the Bad River Reservation and the Mille Lacs Band, Big Sandy Lake, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, East Lake areas. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Red Flag Warning issued July 13 at 2:42AM CDT until July 13 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Duluth MN * AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, North Itasca, Central St. Louis, Southern Lake, Southern Cook, North Cass, South Itasca and Carlton and South St. Louis. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 25 percent. * IMPACTS...The rapid spread of any fires may occur due to the forecast weather conditions and dry fuels per guidance from local land management agencies. A Red Flag Warning on Monday means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
