In northeast Missouri, Adair. * WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 228 PM CDT, Flooding from the heavy rain last night is still ongoing across much of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been extended. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kirksville, Brookfield, Marceline, La Plata, Bucklin, Meadville, Hale, Atlanta, Laclede, Callao, Linneus, Brashear, Wheeling, New Cambria, Purdin, Mendon, Bogard, Tina, Gibbs and Sumner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
