Flood Warning issued June 9 at 11:28AM MDT until June 10 at 12:00PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. * WHERE...A portion of panhandle Nebraska, including the following counties, Box Butte, Morrill and Scotts Bluff. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1122 AM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bayard, Angora and Moomaw Corner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
