Special Weather Statement issued June 8 at 6:13AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE Patchy dense fog will be possible for the morning commute, mainly for areas east of Highway 181 and south of Highway 92 in south central Nebraska. Visibilities may fall to as low as one half mile, but rapid improvement should occur between 8AM and 9AM. Please use caution if traveling this morning. Slow down and use low beam headlights if you encounter any fog.

Flood Warning issued June 7 at 1:56PM CDT until June 8 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Hastings NE * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by Friday night's excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...York County in east central Nebraska... Northern Fillmore County in south central Nebraska... Southeastern Hamilton County in south central Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 150 PM CDT, emergency management reported continued flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain Friday night continues to result in runoff through area creeks and rivers. - This includes the following streams and drainages... West Fork Big Blue River, Lincoln Creek, and Beaver Creek Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. River gauges indicate continued flooding along the West Fork Big Blue River from Grafton to McCool Junction. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
