Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 9 at 9:14PM CDT until June 9 at 9:45PM CDT by NWS Hastings NE At 912 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles north of Osceola to near Stromsburg to near Bradshaw, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... York, Stromsburg, Osceola, Shelby, Polk, Bradshaw, Waco, Benedict, Gresham, and Thayer. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 345 and 365. Most gusts within the Warning area will likely remain below 55 MPH, with anything 58 MPH or higher a localized exception. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central and east central Nebraska. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
