Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 25 at 5:05AM EDT until September 25 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Newport/Morehead City NC * WHAT...Up to 1 foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Areas along the Pamlico Sound, Trent, Bay and lower Neuse Rivers, areas along the Pamlico and Pungo Rivers and adjacent tidal creeks. * WHEN...Until 5 PM EDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
