In southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Western Chester and Western Montgomery. * WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop through this evening, capable of producing heavy downpours. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Philadelphia, Bensalem, Evesham, Mount Laurel, Willingboro, Medford, Lumberton, Yeadon, Burlington, Bristol, Mount Holly and Riverside. People attending Lemon Hill should seek shelter immediately. This includes the following highways... Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 37 and 51. Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 7 and 9. New Jersey Turnpike between exits 4 and 6A. Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 337 and 344.
