IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cheyenne, Laramie County Fairgrounds at Archer, Fox Farm-College, South Cheyenne, South Greeley Highway, Ranchettes, Cheyenne Regional Airport, Bison Crossing, Winchester Hills, North Cheyenne, Frontier Park, Carpenter, Warren AFB, Grass Hills and Cowboy Ranch South. This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 6 and 16. Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 360 and 381. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
