Flood Watch issued July 10 at 1:56AM CDT until July 12 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Nashville TN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following counties, Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson. * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Up to 3 to 4 inches of additional rainfall is expected through the weekend, with soils already saturated from past recent rain events. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Flood Advisory issued July 10 at 8:56AM CDT until July 10 at 10:30AM CDT by NWS Nashville TN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following counties, Davidson, Rutherford, Williamson and Wilson. * WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 856 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Murfreesboro, Franklin, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Antioch, Rural Hill, Percy Priest Lake, Gladeville and Natchez Trace At Highway 96. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
