Heavy rains will further aggravate rivers and streams, causing rises to and above bankfull. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following areas, Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Greene, Lee AR, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett and St. Francis, North Mississippi, including the following areas, Alcorn, Benton MS, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Coahoma, DeSoto, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee MS, Marshall, Monroe, Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union and Yalobusha, Southeast Missouri, including the following areas, Dunklin and Pemiscot, and West Tennessee, including the following areas, Benton TN, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton and Weakley. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Union City, Dyer, Troy, Kenton, Rutherford, Obion, Clayton, Trimble, Hornbeak, Woodland Mills, Rives, Yorkville, Mason Hall, Moffatt, Wolverine, McCutchen Heights, Tilghman, Tyson Store, Glass and Gibbs. Highways 89 and 105 were closed due to flooding in Trimble. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The heaviest rainfall has moved east of the warned area, but additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Jackson, Humboldt, Trenton, Fairview, Alamo, Bells, Dyer, Three Way, Adair, Eaton, Carroll, Gadsden, Coxville, Gibson Wells, Fruitland, Mason Grove, Quincy, Fruitvale, Brazil and Mount Orange. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
