HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Jamaica around 705 PM EDT. Morattico around 710 PM EDT. Lancaster around 720 PM EDT. Kilmarnock around 725 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Byrdton, Avalon, Brook Vale, Bertrand, Reedville, Belle Isle State Park, Millenbeck, Crouch, Dodlyt, and Rehoboth Church. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
